Bellini in the town of Bellini app for iPhone and iPad

The "Bellini in the town of Bellini" app is offered as a tool for a virtual tour of the main places of Catania, which have a connection with the human and artistic experience of Vincenzo Bellini.
It starts from the birthhouse, today seat of the Bellini Museum, then moved to the Church of San Francesco Borgia, in which Bellini was baptized, and continues with the monumental complex of the Benedictine Monastery of San Nicolò lArena, the Palace of the University, the Cathedral, the Palace of the Prince of Biscari and finally the Teatro Massimo Bellini, built after the composers death and inaugurated with the staging of Norma.
By clicking on the appropriate annotation on the map, for each of the seven historic sites are available: a series of photos, a concise informative text and a short music listening the describe the Bellini opera in its wealth of genres and forms. In addition, through the appropriate arrow at the top right, you can start navigation to the selected site, tracing the path.
With the arrows, at the bottom left, you can also move from one place to another without having to manually scroll the map.
The location icon, at the bottom right, allows to determinate the users geographic location, simplifying orientation and the reaching of the historic places.
